Incredible Clovis Point with lots of history!

Where have you seen it?  Let me tell you, Overstreet.  The ninth and tenth edition both highlight this artifact.  This artifact comes with both a Perino and Jackson COA.  It was found by Gary Kirkpatrick in 1977 in Artesia, New Mexico.  This is ex Art Tatum collection.  This artifact has been a part of many serious collections.  This artifact is made of beautiful banded Chert   It measures 1 7/16 x 1 inch.

Hopewell

Attention Big Rock Collectors!

Here we have a HUGE Hopewell measuring 5 in x 2 1/8.  This is a fantastic Midwestern Woodland point.  This point was found in Scioto County, Ohio.

Wheeler Drill!

Awesome Paleo Drill!  Made of Fort Payne Chert.  This drill is hard to part from my collection.  This Drill was found in Livingston County, KY.  It measures 2 1/2 x 1 inch.  Jackson COA included.

Clovis Point

This is a magnificent example of a Clovis point .  This point very well may have been used to hunt a Woolly Mammoth. It is fluted on both side, made of beautiful Horn Stone.  This point was plucked from the ground in KY near Big Bone Lick.  The one and only flaw on this point is some incidental handling damage near the tip which is visible in upper photograph.  Jackson COA.  This lance point measures 3 1/4 x 1 1/16.

Thebes

Here is a great Thebes with some very nice banding made of Coshocton Flint direct from Coshocton, Ohio.  It is a classic Early Archaic Thebes with great beveling, complete with a Jackson COA.  This point measures 3 3 3/16 x 1 1/2

Big Sandy

Very colorful Big Sandy with spectacular banding.   This is a great Early Archaic piece made of Tyrone Chert found in Meade County, KY.  Artifact comes with a Jackson COA.  This point measures 3 5/8 x 1 3/16

Angostura

This is a super thin Paleo piece.  It is an Angostura found by Jerry Herring in Lincoln County, Missouri.  It is made of Burlington Chert and comes with a Jackson COA.  This artifact measures 3 9/16 x 1 3/16.

Paleo Knife

A great find from Fairfield County, Ohio.  I think that this artifact closely resembles an Agate Basin.  It is made of Oolithic Fossil Chert which is not the highest grade material making it more difficult to work. This piece comes with a Jackson COA.   It measures 4 1/16 x 1 3/16

Cobb's Knife

This piece has great symmetry and some nice banding at the tip of the point.  It is Ex Tim Johnson collection and is made of Fossil Chert.  This is a nice Ohio knife from the early archaic period.  This piece comes with a Jackson COA.  This artifact measures 3 7/16 x 1 7/16

Micronotch

Super rare piece made of high quality Flint Ridge Flint.  Although this piece has some slight damage it is still highly collectible.  It is Ex. W. Collins and Ex. Tim Johnson Collection.  It was found in Highland County, Ohio.  This piece comes with a Jackson COA and measures 3 1/4 x 1 1/2.
